This program is for the aspiring baseball athlete who is looking to improve their game and become the best possible player they can be.
This program is for players 15/16 years old.
In September and October, the Academy will practice and/or play 2 days outside per week.
This will work in conjunction with 3 additional indoor skill and strength and conditioning sessions, which will be individual-focused.
The structure of this phase of the program is reflective of our long-term development philosophy at this age.
Simply put,
individual physical and skills development takes priority over on-field competition and team skills at this point in the calendar year.
AHP is incredibly unique in our approach to training.
It all starts with a thorough assessment process.
From there, every aspect of the training program is individualized – from the athlete’s warm-ups to their lifts, to their arm care routine, to their speed and agility training.
Additionally, athletes will be coached on nutrition strategies.
Sean brings over 15 years of coaching experience from around Alberta, including 13 years of offseason training programs.
Working with athletes of all ages he has coached 12 future MLB draft picks, 17 players that went on to professional baseball, and over 150 that played collegiately. He has also served up the first ever batting practice homerun to over 400 players!
Sean is known to create a positive, inclusive, and competitive environment, and motivate players to love baseball as much as he does. He gets to know each player well and is always willing to talk.
